A handsome 19th Century brass hanging gas lamp, converted to electricity, with round opaline shade. 810 on the shade holder and SPUTNIK on the later bulb holder.

Size - length (including shade) 70cms. Condition - please also see photographs.

The lamp is in very good condition. The opaline shade is also in good condition, commensurate with age and usage, but has a couple of small nicks, one on the edge that fits in the holder and another tiny one on the other rim. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE TAKE ALL OUR STOCK TO ANTIQUES AND COLLECTORS' FAIRS.
