Hardwood but unsure of what kind. This was black from age and i just stripped it lightly and rubbed toung oil into it.

9 ft wide and 9 and 1/2 feet tall. I have put 5 sets of China in it. I have included some pics of it. It is quite a conversation piece. The item "Antique Back Bar.
