Also, the turned armrests, or lower rails, are in a great faux bamboo style. The finish is good but looks like an older refinish (can't say how old). The seat is woven thatch and was probably re-done at some point in the past; it is in fine condition. Also, the chair is tight and needs no re-gluing. The feet are typically plain.

And none of the stretchers, or any other part, have been replaced. Very fine overall early American made child's chair.
