Was a Captain in the "C" Company of the 44th Infantry, Mass. He died on July 29, 1875 in Boston. A framed photograph of the dapper soldier most likely had a prominent spot on this vanity. We've included a photo of the young man in the listing.This stunning vanity has measurements of 58" x 45" x 24. The five drawers go on for days and provide 20 of storage space in each one. The cabriole legs sit on brass casters for easy transport. It weighs approximately 60 pounds. This piece is in good condition but does show some light signs of wear from age and use.
