This Biedermeier style sewing stand is made of cherry solid wood and veneers with paint decorations on the sides and a classical theme wooden inlay on the underside of the top. It is about 30 high with a 21 diameter top.
I believe it is from the late 19th into the early 20th century from the amount of handwork construction. The interior has a removable tray, with covered compartments, above a velvet fabric bag for storage. It is in good used condition with tight age voids in the veneers and some tight voids from shrinkage in the body and top. The finished surface is good with some small marks and flaws.
It is sturdy and ready for use. Please look at the photographs as they are considered part of the description. I guarantee it to be as described. Items left over 90 days will be considered abandoned.
