Late Victorian Antique Three Tier Dumb Waiter Etagere Server Buffet Trolley Cart

See description for full condition report. This English mahogany three tier server was made during the late Victorian period around 1900. Also known as a dumb waiter or etagere this piece would traditionally have gone in a dining room and meals would have been served from it. Today we use them in a variety of places like the kitchen, foyers, and again the dining room. The four columns are beautifully turned and the mahogany has developed a lovely patina over the years. The finish has a very rustic charm to it, making it a perfect kitchen or dining room piece. The server is in good condition. It does have marks acquired over its more than 110 years of life including small dings and dents on all surfaces and columns. These are most evident in the top down images. All of these marks are minor and serve to add character and charm to the piece rather than detract from it. Also, the top two tiers sport a small age separation.The casters still roll easily. The distance between the bottom and second shelf is 14.75 and between the second and top shelves is 14.75. Finally, the height from the floor to the top not counting the back splash measures 42.5.
