A rare late 19th century antique two piece S. Clarke's fairy lamp comprising. A cranberry satinized glass dome in the shape of a male baby's head - smiling on one side and crying on the other. A frosted cowl shaped base with an integral candle cup embossed S. CLARKE FAIRY PYRAMID with dancing fairy trade mark to the centre.4.5 (11.5 cms) high. I have a number of other antiques and collectors items. There is a crack to the side of the base (shown - I think a piece of the side has been broken and glued back, as you can feel a small amount of glue residue to the inside, but it must have been a clean break as it is very difficult to detect when looking at the outside of the base), otherwise the dome is in very good condition. The pictures give a fair representation of condition. A rare fairy lamp which would be a perfect addition to a themed collection. Please view the other collectors items I have for sale.
