Here is an American maple four drawer chest in very good condition. It dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. The brasses have been replaced at some time, but are old and right for the period. It shows evidence of its long life, but is in very good shape, with natural shrinkage of drawer bottoms, some replaced nails and so on. It is a handsome, friendly piece, light in feeling, solid and storied. I do have more photos. 40 7/8"H x 38 1/2"W x 17 5/8D.
