Very nice, could be circa 1840s or earlier, interesting wall mirror with faint inscription on back. What I can make out is the name "Ida (J or T) Rice" Newton Mass.

That is scratched in on the back. Sometime ago, I did some investigating the name and found she may have been a servant to a Madeline Franklin Maguire, in Boston. That's all I know and decided to sell it now after puzzling me for 14 years. Bought at estate in New Hampshire. Only mark I see is a number 1, on back below ring. I hope someone finds it a good home. Adorned with dauphins wearing crowns. The holders also have dauphins with ends of holders in their mouths. Overall, it is 14" x 9" with a ring holder on back. The holders are 4 long. Super-size to see well e-questions.
