ANTIQUE Eastlake CARVED Solid Oak PLATFORM ROCKER c. Late 1800-early1900's
I believe this platform rocker to be an Eastlake and to be oak(could be walnut based on stain used at the time) and vintage late 1800's or early 1900's as I'm no expert on these things. This belonged to my elderly neighbor (who passed) and I was going to re-upholster it. I have ivory brocade fabric as seen in the photos for this purpose and the chair is in tack with it's springs and coils. The wood is in fine condition for it's age as simply needs a new back and seat.
