Antique French Gilt Framed Mirror. Mid-Late 19thC

Antique French Gilt Framed Mirror. Acquired very recently in France, a rather simple, elegant & understated 19thC Mirror in untouched & original condition. The wood frame is substantial, it's actually a double frame, see photos of the edge, the front is gilt, has minor loss of gilt gesso to edges in places, mostly to the bottom edge - see last photo, all is exepected with an authentic piece & very credible. The mirror plate looks to be mercury backed & fortuntatley it's not foxed, so remains very usable. I will make sure it is fully protected for the post. 55cm W x 65cm High x 5cm Deep.
