Antique Korean Table Cabinet/Chest Late 19thC Large Size 86cm X 58cm

This is a beautiful and quite rare late 19th century large size Korean table cabinet in elm wood with an internal cupboard and four drawers, decorative metal clasps and a silk-tasselled key with lock. Measuring 86cm wide, 58cm tall and 45.5cm deep it is in very good condition with wear consistent with age (small cracks to the two front door panels, a small repair and a longer crack to the top, plus minor wear to corners and edges).

Korean antique pieces are uncommon given the war-torn history of the country in the 20th century so this is a rare opportunity to acquire this unusual piece.
