Up for your consideration is a wonderful antique wood piano stool with Beautifully turned legs, marked Tonk. It is likely late 1800s but I do not have an exact age.

At some point over the years it was painted. It is adjustable by turning the seat. I believe it is possibly mahogany. The condition is good to fair.

There are normal scuffs, scratches and dings as well as a normal amount of wear for a piece of this age and use. There is paint loss and crackling of the paint. The stool does spin and go up to adjust height.

In my experience all antique piano stools all have a certain amount of wobbling the higher you raise the seat. This stool has much less wobbling than most I have seen. This is a very nice little stool with a wonderful sense of story. There is a repair toe reinforce the attachment of the bracket to the seat bottom, because of old cracks in the iron as shown.

This repair seems to be very stable and tight, it seems to be a good repair. Size 18" to 21.75"H + (that is as high as I took it) x 13.75"Diameter Leg spread is 16.75" x 16. If you pick Smart Post and Priority is cheaper I go with Priority. The majority of the items I sell are estate finds. As a result, I describe my items to the best of my ability.

As in almost all vintage items this piece has signs of wear, with some possible scratches and scuffs. All of these things added together is what makes these vintage pieces so attractive to us. It takes us back to an earlier, simple time, when things were not throwaway and disposable.

Repurpose-chances are it won't be used in its original form, the possibilities of use are only limited by your imagination. Reuse-too much from our lives is throwaway. We need to find new and creative ways to reuse, so we do not completely drown in the disposable. If you need more than three days please let me know.
