Beautiful example of quarter sawn oak furniture from the late 1800s. It is not branded but this sideboard is a fine piece of furniture that likely was very expensive in its day. The sideboard is in excellent condition for its age.
It is 2 pieces: sideboard/buffet/serverIt and a decorative wood top with a unique mirror shape, 2 small display shelves and some lovely carving. The mirror shows some marring but no cracks. The top drawer is lined in black felt. All of the hardware appears to be original.
The cabriole legs are in great condition and the wheels all work well. It is a real statement piece that could be used in a dining room, entry or kitchen. 42x17x40 3/4" to top of buffet, 59" tall to top of the mirror portion.
