Triple plate gilt overmantle mirror c. Three mirror plates set within a gilded frame with an extraordinary Classical gesso frieze depicting the Greek goddess Cybele on a chariot pulled by lions and accompanied by angels with bugles. Deep overhanging cornice with applied ball mouldings and flanked with reeded columns with Corinthian capitals. Some missing sections, obvious old damage and repairs to the plasterwork on the frame.
