All that being said, these are beautiful. I'm a needle pointer myself so I appreciate the work that went into these. The Eastlake design is hard to resist for me as well. Add these two together and they end up in my dining room. The only flaws I see is wear in one seat but it's repairable if you have a needle handy. Measurements: The seats are 18 from the floor. The seats are 17 3/4"W x 15 1/2"D.
The top of the back is 36" and from the seat to the top it is 20". These are really beautiful chairs, with great color and character.
