Antique Muh-ri-jang headside chest from the late 1800s Joseon, Korea

Beautiful Antique KoreanMuh-ri-jang headside chest from Joseon Dynasty - late 1800s Korea. Has 2 front doors that opens to a storage area and 4 small drawers above. The entire frontpanels of the cabinet is decorated with dragon wood (drawn from the root of Zelkova wood).

The front of the cabinet also features ornamental brass hardware. The top and much of the rest of thecabinet is built from softer woods, such as pine. Its legs are of the aesthetically renowned Tong-Yeong style. Damages to the Dragon wood veneer on the drawer surfaces.

Shows typical features of old antique furniture from this era from normal usage/age. A small front panel piece that got detached will be included for completness. 38"h x 38.5"w x18d.
