Antique Golden Oak Childs Dresser. Make me a reasonable offer! Located in west suburban Chicago - - local pick-up only! A beautiful antique solid golden oak childs dresser. Great for a baby, young child, lingerie or dining room accent. Solid oak top, drawer fronts, sides and top apron. Solid wood drawer sides, back, bottom and dresser back. Wood is in very good condition. This is natural oak with a clear finish - - variations in color (other than noted stain) are caused by nature. Top is scratch and mar-free. Dresser has been refinished in about 1990 using two coats of Waterlox Transparent sealer followed by three coats of Pratt & Lambert satin varnish giving it a soft, smooth finish. 5 drawers all dove-tailed (see image #6,7,8). The 4-1/2 decorative apron features scrolled woods and a decorative fleur-de-lis (image #6). Dresser features original wood-wheeled casters on all four legs. Very lightly used as my son's dresser when he was a small boy. Since then it's been in our dining room as an accent piece and to store some little-used dishes. Wood and finish are in excellent condition. Insides of all drawers and dresser-back have been sealed with Waterlox. As with any dresser of this age, there are no drawer glides. Drawers slide on wood channels.

Minor stains on the front of the top two drawers (image #5). Here are several critical dimensions.

Overall height - 52-1/2" (including 4-1/2" apron). Height (to dresser top) - 48. Overall Width - 28" at top, 25-1/2" at drawer from side to side. Top drawer - 22-1/2" wide, 6" high, 12-1/2 deep. 22-1/2" wide, 7" high, 12-1/2 deep. Priced at half what you would presently pay for a dresser like this at a furniture store - - and twice the quality! Please view all images, as I have tried to show all angles.
