Antique Victorian Pewter Easel Back Mirror With Cherub Late 1800s to Early 1900s. Offered for your consideration is an antique easel-back table top mirror, from, I would guess, the late 1800s to the early 1900s.
, the mirror has an angel or cherub like child to one side. The rest of the base is adorned. The mirror stands on a table, dresser or vanity with the assistance of an easel, which can be out or laid flat.
The mirror has a beveled edge, which enhances the overall look of the piece. The mirror is in good to very good'as found' condition. The front of the mirror frame/stand has been, at some point, painted silver, but does not carry over to the back. The kickstand still operates as designed, and the mirror will display properly. The mirror simply lays in a'channel' for display, and is not secured with clips. The mirror measures about 10 1/2" tall x about 9" wide and has a weight of 2 pounds 4 ounces. A lovely addition for the home decor.
