I have always loved this bed and when he and my Mom passed away, it came to me. I used it with the platform and a tempurpedic mattress for about 10 years. Then because of some health issues, we bought an adjustable, split-king bed, which is WAY too high for the headboard and certainly does not work with the platform.

We wrapped up the platform in plastic, where it still is, safe and sound and dry. The headboard has been in our bedroom behind our mattresses, and is lost back there. The headboard has backrests that pop up and work perfectly when the platform is in use.

Not so much with our split-king. There is storage under the backrests for pillows, blankets, throws or whatever?? The pictures I'm including are impeded by our bed--I simply can't get the mattresses all the way out of the way. The one picture of the platform is an EXAMPLE of the platform.

I cannot get it out and unwrap it and lay it out for a picture. I just don't have room or the strength. Please ask any questions you might have. Make this honey yours and give it a good home.
