"A good quality, Rosewood "Regency Card Table. A late "Regency" piece, with a hinged foldover and swivel top.
Paneled apron to front with beaded central border. Four sided tapered stepped column to the platform base of concave sides and turned bun shaped corner feet. Length of top when closed: 92.5cmOrigin: EnglandPeriod: George IVCirca date: 1820-25. The felt inside has been redone and is in excellent condition. The top will need refinishing as there is a water stain and there is also some veneer that needs replacing on the strip around the top edge (see photos) and also on one of the feet.
The table can be repaired without too much expense and you will have an exquisite piece. We have priced it low as we know there are repairs that need to be done. There is a drawer for storage of cards, dice etc.
