Large Antique Mid to Late 1800s Wooden Travel Trunk with its Original Leather Handles; has a repapered interior with antique print in the center of the interior lid. No cracks/splits to the wood & no woodworm holes. Note that two brass hinges on the backside of the lid have been added to secure the lid, but the original black hardware hinges were left so that the wood was not damaged. Original black metal hardware straps on the lid.

The exterior has been clear waxed to bring out the wonderful aged patina of the wood. Perfect size for storing blankets, small quilts or vintage linens. Use with lid open to display your antique bear or doll collection! Found in England, but not sure if that was the originating country. Measures 23 inches by 12 inches; 11 inches tall with lid closed.
