HERE WE HAVE A LATE 17TH CENTURY CHEST OF DRAWERS WHICH HAS HAD THE TOP DRAWER AND LID CONVERTED TO A SHALLOW COFFER, THE REMAINING DRAWERS FUNCTION AS NORMAL. TYPICAL GEOMETRIC DESIGN DRAWER FRONTS WITH BRASS DROP HANDLES. CHEST SPLITS IN HALF WHICH WAS A USUAL FEATURE OF THIS PERIOD. STANDING ON SHORT BLOCK FEET. EXPECTED SURFACE STAINING AND MARKS.
