Late 1800's 12 Victorian Embossed Metal Pattern Child's Doll Trunk With Insert

This beautiful late 1800's Victorian trunk is perfect for storing dolls, doll clothing, accessories, and small items. It features a stunning floral pattern and is made of high-quality oak wood with an embossed metal pattern. The trunk has two drawers with a hinge mechanism and a single door with a lever handle. The blue and white color combination adds a touch of elegance to any room, and the leather handle material gives it a comfortable feel.

This fully assembled trunk weighs 3 pounds and measures 12 inches in length, 6 inches in height, and 6.5 inches in width. Great for displaying other antiques or for a restoration project. I wouldn't recommend it for a child in it's current condition due to condition of some parts such as embossed metal and rusted nails which have some sharp points and may cause injury. The only marking on the this trunk is on the bottom where the characters/numbers 10 and 4S are stenciled in black ink. It also looks lke someone may have written something on the bottom then later scratched it out with pencil.

I'd love to know what is written beneath the pencil, but it's very worn at this point.
