Late 18th Century Federal Inlayed Folding Secretary Desk. Rare Late 18th/ early 19th century folding Secretary desk, American, on casters, two pieces, the legs on casters (later made) and the desk (trunk shap).

Two keys comes with Secretary, locks are in great working shape, so are the casters, each drawer inside are in good working condition. 4 small drawers, 2 on each side, 2 big drawers, 1 on each side, one richly inlayed access door with shell inlayed ornament, the door has its separate key, and one small drawer behind the access door in the center. This is a marvelous piece of its period. It is 41 tall to top of the cabinet, 44 in width.
