I work with many carriers and shop the best rates for buyers. So many details to take in; the striations and movement of the tiger striped wood, the rope twist legs flanked on top and bottom by spheres, the dual corbels at each corner which give it a French/Italian/Euro flair.
I would date it to the late 19th to early 20th C. Back is finished so that it could "float" in a room. Some bits of age as expected. The age and patina add to its antique charm.
