A beautiful pair of two pedestals / columns / pillars made of solid beech wood. Made at the end of the 19th / beginning 20th century in France.

Beautiful handmade and hand carved. You can see the excellent craftsmanship. The pedestals have a wooden top, perfect for putting a plant or sculpture on it. Standing study on a round foot that is decorated with hand carved flowers. The pedestals are re-gild with gold leaf a couple of years ago.

If you look at the grooves you see that in the grooves there is a darker gold tone, named patine. A beautiful pair that will be a real eye catching object in your home.
