Late 19th Century Italian Walnut Renaissance Revival Credenza

AN ITALIAN RENAISSANCE WALNUT CREDENZA. 16th Century, possibly originally with a supertructure. The rectangular top above four fluted panelled frieze drawers with fluted round knobs above a panel centered with a strapwork cartouche carved with a bird, flanked by a pair of doors, enclosing a shelf, and a pair of panels, each carved with reeded circular motifs, the sides similarly-decorated, the front with guilloche banding overall, above a stop-fluted torus base centered by an acanthus leaf on paw feet, bearing inventory number 29232.
