Here's the comfortable stool for all occasions! Originally probably an adjustable piano or organ stool it serves well as a rugged and unique-looking foot stool as well. It adjusts in height from 19" to 27".

I'm not certain whether the green-gold fabric is original but it is old, with a matching fringe which hides the threads of the rotating shaft as it goes up and down. The base is heavy cast iron in perfect condition with original black paint. I would guess it age to be late 1800s. The generously cushioned seat measures 13" X 13" and is quite nice condition. Only a few minor stain blemishes, but no abrasions or wear.
