Oak library bookcase of German origin. This Arts & Crafts style enclosed bookcase let the way to extreme simplicity using wood grain creatively. The upper portion of this free standing bookcase has four doors with three glass panels each.
The original brass keyhole drop latches are intact and there is an overhanging molded cornice. The inside pine back boards is \the secondary wood. The base has four double paneled doors with adjustable shelves being throughout.The pulls have been replaced. Total length is 8 1/2 feet and 22 inches depth.
Height is 7 1/2 feet tall making it a speculator breakfront. The excellent workmanship guaranteed the new owner that their books could be dust free. The dimensions are 102(l) x 22(d) x 92.5(h).
