Set of four English Hepplewhite'shield back' mahogany chairs, late 1700s

These beautiful 18th century handmade Hepplewhite chairs are not country, but also not entirely formal. The patina and craftsmanship are very appealing, as is the eye catching Chintz fabric of the seats (in great condition). There are a variety of small dings, repairs, and splits, but all four chairs are strong and solid with no great weaknesses. These will make your summer parlor a happy place to be.

18 1/2 floor to top of seat. 18 1/2 front to back.
