Overall in VERY GOOD, attractive appearance. Please study my photographs for a few minor spots or scratches. These are truly commensurate with antiques of this age (the driveway where I took my photographs has a slight downhill slope from left to right - this Desk is Level) - there is a rub/wear spot just below the roll top cylinder; there are some scratches to the right side of the upper crown molding; there are some dark spots inside the drawers/ or cabinet but you only see them when you pull the drawers out to access your stored items; when you have the Desk in a position that allows you to see the very bottom undercarriage - it shows this desk (at one time in its long life) had castor wheels because the metal castor sockets that the wheels' stems were inserted into are still in 3 of the 4 legs (the 4th leg has no socket as it has some partial wood loss where it used to be - this has no effect on the level sturdiness of the Desk).
