Late half of 19 century to early 20. Beautiful Antique Louis XV Walnut Serpentine Fronted Commode and Rococo Style Gilt Framed Mirror. The commode with an inset and inlaid molded top above an arrangement of six drawers with scroll moldings and ornate pulls, the molded apron with foliate and scroll carving, on carved cabriole scroll feet, the cartouche shaped mirror with conjoined C-scrolls and a pierced scroll cresting with flower heads.

18 to 24 carrot gold was often used to create the scrollwork design in the custom cut black glass on top. Note: This item must be crated to safely arrive to any destination. Crating is built into the cost of this item. We only sell items we consider to be an 8 on a scale of 1-10.

This commode is in incredible condition for its being at least 120+ years old. As expected, there are some issues, but the presentation is overall still 8 to 10. Your guests and family will gush over this amazing piece.
