This is a rare and beautiful antique French Provential child's high chair, perfect for any room in your home. Made in the late 1800s in France, this high chair is a true original and a must-have for any antique furniture collector. The chair is made of walnut wood and finished with an oil-rubbed finish that adds to its rustic charm.
This high chair features a rush seat and is handmade with care and precision. It is unisex and can be used for babies and toddlers. The chair has armrests that are 7 inches in height, a seat height of 21 inches, and a backrest height of 16 inches. It weighs around 12 lbs and has seating capacity for 1 person. This antique high chair is in very fine condition and will make a wonderful addition to your home. It's extremely rare to find such fine craftsmanship designed for a toddler. Only a few of these fine pieces remain due the abuse they typically endured. I got the chair from Charles Faudree who bought it in France and brought it back.It remains one of my favorite pieces of furniture but my kids are grown now and I thought someone else might enjoy it as much as I have. I've seen many antique high chairs, but I've never seen one with such beautiful craftsmanship or in such a fine condition as this one.
