Late Victorian tea set made from electroplated Britannia Metal (EPBM) and silver plated. Britannia metal was widely used as the base metal for silver plated household goods and cutlery.
EPBM is a pewter alloy comprising 92% tin, 6% antimony, 2% copper. This service includes a teapot, sugar bowl and creamer. Teapot measures 15cm high and 30cm wide (including spout and handle). Some ware and scratches with age on the surface.
