Late 19th century Victorian wicker platform rocker made by Heywood Brothers who eventually became the Heywood Wakefield Company. Beautiful Art Nouveau influences adorn this work of art with arms and legs made of thick braids of wicker and round finial tops and feet. I will add more detailed pictures soon. The original piece has decorative chains that hang from the back of chair, but this piece does not have those (most don't).
Because of age, I would be gentle on use, but is functional for mid to smaller framed people. 49.5" x 27" x 27. The item "Vintage Heywood Brothers Wicker Rocker, Late 1800's" is in sale since Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
