Vtg Custom Chinoiserie Headboard Carved Teak Petit Point Dragon Butterflies

Custom made and artist signed, vintage (dated 1981), Asian/Chinoiserie Headboard in original condition. Teak wood with carved, Chinese characters symbolizing good luck, comprise the headboard perimeter.

The interior is a pale, green/yellow velvet which has a large dragon and butterflies in extraordinary, embroidered needlepoint/petit point. There is an engraved, metal plate on the back, inscribed with the artist's name and date. Very nice condition with appropriate age. Unique and absolutely a one-of-a-kind piece. Measures 50.75" tall, 54.25" wide and 2.5 in depth.
